What does the PTA do? 

​

With the help of Parents and Teachers we are able to bring some FUN, CELEBRATION, and EXPLORATION to Longfellow.

Below are a list events that the PTA has hosted or supported over the years. Due to COVID 19, we are no longer able to host some of these events. Please refer to DOJO to see what's happening next! 

  • Monthly PTA Meetings:  TBD each month

  • School Clean-Up the week before school begins.

  • Classic Car Show & BBQ  is a local fundraising event and chance to connect with community.

  • Back-to-School Night is a great time to meet your child’s teacher, staff and other parents

  • Movie Nights are a chance for everyone to get together and watch a movie outdoors while enjoying food and snacks

  • Halloween Celebration is a chance to march in a parade and enjoy school activities while you dress up to celebrate Halloween

  • Multicultural Night is a great way for students to learn about other cultures and for families to teach others about their cultures with an evening potluck. 

  • Santa & Tree Decorating is concludes the pre-holiday festivities 

  • Math & Science Night is a chance for kids and parents to try their hand at match and science experiments

  • Art Night is chance for the kids and parents to hang out and explore their artistic genius 

  • Spring Carnival is a fun filled afternoon of carnival games, food, and a silent auction 

  • Teacher Appreciation gives us a chance to say a little Thank You to the hard working staff of the school
